The WA Centre for Rural Health (WACRH) has academics and researchers with diverse health professional backgrounds, with a capacity to engage in clinical practice and health services research:

  • Our research interests include population health, mental health, quality improvement of health services, chronic disease, learning and innovative service delivery models translating research into practice, policy and the community
  • Research programs are also driven by high-quality community engagement. Outcomes are disseminated through forums that encourage knowledge exchange and influence practice, policy and research in rural health
  • WACRH seeks to increase numbers and expand capacities of primary health care researchers by up-skilling early career researchers, and assisting to progress their research careers
